Customer identity checks
TeKYC — customer identity checks
TeKYC runs the know-your-customer review and records the decision. When the decision is accepted, it passes a customer reference to Titan. It is not the official customer file.
For your technology team. TeKYC runs electronic know-your-customer (KYC) checks and customer due diligence (CDD) cases. It produces the decision record for each check and passes a customer reference to Titan, which creates the customer record (CIF). TeKYC is the system of record for the check decision, not the master customer file.
What it does
- Opens a know-your-customer case when a channel starts onboarding.
- Captures identity details and the documents the case needs.
- Walks the case through review, including refer and approve.
- Uses the questionnaires the institution has configured for the risk of that customer.
- Records the decision and the evidence a reviewer can open later.
- When the decision is accepted, passes a customer reference to Titan so the customer record can be created.
- Does not become the official customer file.
Who uses it
The customer-identity team, reviewers, and the channels that start an application.
