Retail customer channel

Nova — retail account opening

Nova is the retail app and screens for opening an account. It starts the journey and hands the work to the customer check and the core. It does not keep the ledger.

For your technology team. Nova is the retail digital banking channel. It runs onboarding and account opening and hands the work to TeKYC and Titan. It does not keep the official customer record or the ledger.

What it does

  • Gives a retail customer the mobile app and the web screens for everyday banking.
  • Starts account opening and hands the identity check to TeKYC.
  • Lets a customer transfer funds, pay a bill, or pay with QR, then hands the payment to Pulse.
  • Shows card controls. The card record itself stays in Vulcan.
  • Asks Sentinel to check risk on the journeys the institution has configured.
  • Sends the customer alerts about activity on those journeys.
  • Does not keep the official customer file or the ledger. Titan does.
